Mode of Action

Haloxyfop-P-methyl is a selective, systemic post-emergent herbicide. It is absorbed by the foliage and roots of the target weeds. Inside the plant, it is hydrolyzed to its active form, haloxyfop-R. This active compound is then translocated to the meristematic tissues, where it inhibits growth, leading to the effective destruction of the weed.
